ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Abstract submissions will only be accepted through the congress website via the online submission system. Abstracts sent via e-mail or other means will not be considered for evaluation.
  • To submit an abstract, you must first register for the congress.
  • For an abstract to be considered for scientific evaluation, at least one author must have paid the congress registration fee.
  • Each participant who pays the congress registration fee may submit a maximum of two (2) abstracts. An additional fee of 3,000 ₺ (Turkish Lira) will be charged for the submission of a third abstract. A participant may submit a total maximum of three (3) abstracts to the congress.
  • All accepted abstracts will be presented as oral presentations.
  • All abstracts to be presented at the congress will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee, consisting of national and international experts in their fields, through a double-blind peer review system. In this process, where the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential, each abstract will be examined by at least two independent reviewers in terms of scientific contribution, methodological adequacy, originality, ethical compliance, and relevance to the topic. Based on the reviewers' evaluations, revisions may be requested for studies deemed necessary, and feedback will be communicated to the authors via the online system. In the event of significant disagreement between the reviewers' opinions, the abstract will be submitted for evaluation by a third independent reviewer.
  • Information regarding presentation rules, as well as the venue and schedule for presentations, will be announced later on the congress website.
  • Accepted abstracts will be published in the online congress abstract book.

ABSTRACT FORMATTING GUIDELINES

  • Abstracts must be prepared in accordance with the formatting rules specified below and submitted via the online submission system within the timeframe indicated in the congress calendar. Submissions that do not comply with the formatting rules may not be considered for evaluation by the Scientific Committee.
  • Abstracts must be prepared in both Turkish and English, and both versions must be uploaded to the online submission system.
  • Each abstract (Turkish and English) must not exceed 500 words.
  • The abstract text should be written in Times New Roman, 12-point font, with 1.5 line spacing; a single line space should be left between headings.
  • All headings should be written in bold, with the first letter of each word capitalized.

Author Information

  • Authors should be listed with their academic titles, first names, last names, and institutional affiliations.
  • The name of the presenting author should be indicated by underlining.

Introduction Section

  • The introduction section should concisely describe the research problem and its significance.

Keywords

  • Turkish keywords should be compatible with the Turkish Science Terms (TBT - Türkiye Bilim Terimleri).
  • English keywords should be selected in accordance with Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) terms.
  • A minimum of three (3) and a maximum of five (5) keywords must be specified for each abstract.

FULL-TEXT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Full-text manuscripts will be submitted online through the congress website. Submissions sent via e-mail or other means will not be accepted.
  • To upload manuscripts to the online submission system, registration for the congress is required.
  • For manuscripts to be considered for evaluation, authors must have paid the congress registration fee. Authors who pay the registration fee are entitled to submit up to 2 manuscripts. In the case of submission of more than 2 manuscripts, an additional fee of 3,000 ₺ (Turkish Lira) will be charged. Each registered author may submit a maximum of 3 manuscripts.
  • Full-text manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the formatting rules specified below and submitted via the online submission system within the timeframe indicated in the congress calendar. Submissions that do not comply with the formatting rules may not be considered for evaluation by the Scientific Committee.
  • The manuscript text should be written using Times New Roman font, 12-point size, 1.5 line spacing, with a single line space left between headings. The manuscript, excluding the abstract and references, should not exceed 3000 words.
  • Full-text manuscripts must be uploaded to the submission system in English.
  • Manuscripts should include the following sections and headings:
    • Title
    • Authors
    • Abstract
    • Introduction
    • Materials and Methods
    • Results
    • Discussion
    • Conclusions
    • References
  • The abstract should not exceed 300 words and should include the subheadings: "Introduction, Aim, Results, Conclusions, Keywords." Keywords should be written in accordance with Index Medicus: Medical Subject Headings (MeSH). A minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 keywords should be provided.
  • Main headings should be written in bold with all letters capitalized. Subheadings should be left-aligned, with the first letter of each word capitalized and in bold.
  • Authors should be listed with their academic titles, first names, last names, and institutional affiliations. The name of the presenting author should be indicated by underlining.
  • The manuscript should contain a maximum of 5 tables, figures, or graphs. Tables, figures, or graphs should be placed within the text and numbered consecutively.
  • APA 7th edition formatting rules should be used for the reference list and in-text citations.
  • All manuscripts to be presented at the congress will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee, consisting of national and international experts in their fields, through a double-blind peer review system.
